Combines strategic thinking with creative copywriting

Fresh perspective : Stories that engage : Words that sell

Fresh thinking

A new perspective on your business: pinpointing opportunities, identifying new audiences, and using research and data to inform growth.

Heads down miss the wood for the trees.

Stories that engage

Businesses are people stories - those who conceived of the idea; those who built and now make up the business; and the people your business serves.

Every business is a story worth telling.

Words that sell

The right words aimed at the right people in the right place (web, print, social media), have the power to change the world.

Choose your words carefully.

About ..

Working in market analysis in Madrid then London, I subsequently spent eight years as a senior strategist for UK national newspaper groups, Express Newspapers and News UK. From here I went agency-side as a campaign planner for London agencies OgilvyOne and Chemistry (now Publicis) before relocating to the UK’s south west.

It was there I saw a gap in the market for a premium regional title and with it the chance to put the experience I’d gained in publishing, journalism and marketing to the test. I founded and ran MANOR Magazine for four years during which time we won five British Media Awards and were nominated for nine of the country’s top awards, including the PPA’s UK Independent Magazine of the Year two years in a row.

My time as an editor and publisher allowed me to meet and feature a wide variety of ingenious, innovative and highly inspirational businesses and organisations. Now, post-pandemic (we hope), I’m keen to apply my own skills, where I can, to the rebuild.
